Arnold Schwarzenegger – Austrian Oak

Arnold Schwarzenegger is an Austrian American body builder, model, actor, businessman and politician. He is currently serving as the 38^th Governor of California. He was elected Governor of California as a Republican.

Arnold was born on July 30, 1947 in a small isolated village in Austria. His father was Gustav Schwarzenegger and his mother was Aurelia Jadrny. Arnold father served in World War II with German Army as a Hauptfeldwebel. Arnold had one elder brother, Meinhard who died in a car accident in 1971.

Arnold was very interested in body building since his childhood days. He started body building training at the age of fifteen. Arnold won Mr. Universe title at the age of twenty two. He has record of wining Mr. Universe title five times and Mr. Olympia contest seven times. In his body building days he was nicknamed “Austrian Oak” and Styrian Oak”.

Arnold served one year in Austrian army. Arnold Schwarzenegger married to television journalist Maria Shriver on 26 April 1986 and they have four children. Maria Shriver is a niece of late President John F. Kennedy. Arnold is only second governor of California who was born in foreign country. Arnold is the only person who receive Razzie nominations for Worst Actor, Worst Supporting Actor and Worst Screen Couple in the same year.
